♦ The Well Marked Low Pressure Area lies over Saurashtra & neighbourhood and the associated cyclonic circulation extends upto mid-tropospheric levels. It is likely to move west-northwestwards, emerge into Northeast Arabian Sea & intensify into a Depression by tomorrow, the 30th September 2021, morning. Then it is very likely to move further west-northwestwards and intensify into cyclonic storm during the subsequent 24 hours. Thereafter it is likely to continue to move west-northwestwards close to Pakistan - Mekran coasts, moving away from the the Indian coast. ♦ The Well Marked Low Pressure Area lies over Jharkhand and adjoining West Bengal. ♦ The east-west trough runs from cyclonic circulation associated with the Well Marked Low Pressure Area over Saurashtra & neighbourhood to the cyclonic circulation associated with the other Well Marked Low Pressure Area over Jharkhand and adjoining West Bengal across Madhya Pradesh, Chattisgarh and Jharkhand and extends upto 5.8 km above mean sea level. Under the influence of the above systems: 29th Sept.: (i) Light to moderate rainfall at most places with heavy to very heavy falls at a few places & extremely heavy falls at isolated places very likely over Saurashtra & Kutch and heavy to very heavy & extremely heavy falls at isolated places over Gujarat region, Daman, Diu, Dadra & Nagar Haveli and heavy to very heavy falls at isolated places over north Konkan. (ii) Heavy to very heavy rainfall very likely at isolated places over Gangetic West Bengal, Odisha, Jharkhand. 30th Sept.: (i) Light to moderate rainfall at most places with heavy to very heavy falls at isolated places very likely over Saurashtra & Kutch and heavy falls at isolated places over Gujarat region and north Konkan. (ii) Heavy rainfall at isolated places over Gangetic West Bengal, Odisha and Jharkhand. ♦ Heavy rainfall at isolated places likely over Bihar from 30th September to 03rd October, 2021. Very heavy falls also very likely over Bihar on 01st & 02nd October, 2021. ♦ Fishermen are advised not to venture into north & adjoining central Arabian Sea and along & off Gujarat & north Maharashtra coasts from 30th September02nd October 2021. Fishermen who are out at Sea over the above region are advised to return to safer places / back to coast by today evening. ♦ Moderate to severe thunderstorm with lightning likely over Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan during next 24 hours.
