Banana pepper is used for making mirchi bada. The mirchi bada of Jodhpur, Rajasthan is famous, as the water in that region lends it a unique taste
INGREDIENTS:-
6 Mirchi vada mirchi
For stuffing
2tbsp. Oil
½ tsp cumin seeds
1 pinch asafetida
1 tbsp green chilli paste
1 tsp ginger paste
½ tsp. turmeric powder
4/5 medium size boiled potato
½ tsp. garam masala
½ tsp red chilli powder
1/4 tsp. dry mango powder
1tbsp. coriander powder
Salt to taste
1 Lemon + 1tbsp. sugar water
Coriander leaves
For batter
2 cup besan (gram flour )
1 tsp. turmeric powder
½ tsp red chilli powder
½ tsp carom seeds (ajwain)
Salt to taste
Water
Oil to fry
Serving
Green chutney
