Playing the piano fast is a great feeling. It looks impressive and is a lot of fun, so how do we develop the ability to play really fast all while maintaining tempo and control? The answer is ... play slow. If you want to play fast, you have to start slow. There is no magic formula for playing faster. It takes practice, time, and gradually building speed.
