This is a re-recording of a piece I posted in February and was not satisfied with my performance. I deleted it and am posting it again. Florence B. Price was the first female African American composer of note in the United States. She was born in Arkansas and studied at the New England Conservatory. Her professors were Henry Dunham, organ, George Chadwick and Frank Converse, composition. Ms. Price played the first Sonata of Alexandre Guilmant in a concert where Guilmant himself was attending. He praised her performance saying that it was mature and musically rendered. Here is Florence Price's wiki article. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Florence_Price The Hauptwerk sample set is the 1927 E.M. Skinner of Immanuel Presbyterian, Los Angeles, CA and is sampled by Evensong music. https://www.evensongmusic.net/?product=1927-iv-62-em-skinner-1956-iii-37-schlicker-1977-ii-20-hradetsky-hw-5 The Pexels artists are: Cottonbro, Samer Daboul, Kindel-Media and Ron Lach.
