@tammyjackson47493 years ago George talks about how close they are and that we didnt know, but when we watched ER you could feel the love they had for each other and that along with the amazing writing is why we the fans loved the show so much. It felt so real and I felt so close to the characters. When Mark Green died I cried as if I lost a friend and When Carter lost his son I felt that loss. There were so many episodes that just I loved and I miss it so much. I was an avid fan when it was on and I recently watched it fully twice and I could watch it over and over, I love it so much. @bigdicklarryc3 years ago Proud to say I was part of this show....the greatest show ever on television. I played a security guard on this amazing television masterpiece, for 11 years. No experience has come close...before, or since. What an amazing time, with amazing people. We were so lucky. I have so many wonderful memories, and so many pictures of many hours we spent together. Playing basketball with George Clooney and Noah Wyle. Making those "crosses" in the background...laughing and hanging out with all the other cast members, and going to the wrap parties. Great times. Somebody please ask George Clooney if I can have back my tape of James Brown's performances that I loaned him, so many years ago now. 😫😫 Yeah, I'm sure with the fame, fortune and direction his life has gone in since then, he wouldn't have the faintest idea where to even begin to look for it. Anyway...glad that all these wonderful people... (Gloria Reuben, Laura Innes, Julianna Margulies, Tony Edwards, etc...) have gone on to so much continued recognition in their lives. That didn't happen for all of us, but well deserved on their parts. I will never forget the feeling of family, and the sense of belonging. E.R. was a totally awesome and life-changing experience. Having said that, I loaned George Clooney something very near and dear to my heart...and he never returned it, and that's totally messed up. I'm currently trying to get my property back from him, or at least be compensated for how wrong it was for him to take advantage of me that way. If anybody sees George or can get in touch with him....tell him to give Big Larry back his James Brown tape. ... 133

Still to this day that intro song comes on and it gives me goose bumps. Thursday nights at 10 pm never missed it , the fastest and most intense 60 minutes of tv... much love cast thank you for the memories. Watching it back and seeing all the stars that got started on the show ...just wow ...

@tonistrasser59403 years ago From the pilot I was hooked! I was in nursing school and my clinical was on Tues & Thursdays. I would race home to watch ER and take notes! The cast talked about how things worked on the set, but they missed the fact that the writing of this show was extremely exceptional! The writing and the cast kept the viewer's watching every week! So many special scenes, actors who did a one time show, that touched the audience! I agree with George, couldn't do a reboot. The ending of the series worked. Just like on Six Feet Under (one of the best series finale!). So many good things about this show! Thank you for helping those of us who love this show to get some insight from their point of view. Along with the amazing writing, acting and production, it was truly ahead of its time and still incredibly relevant today. I remember the episode where Greene and the pregnant lady who ended up dying. We were on the edge of our seats the whole episode. Yes love, labour, lost was the episode ... 1

@natbench42083 years ago The best show to me, ever! Crossed the borders, and crossed over time as it is regularly broadcast here in France (I'm watching seasons 12 to 15 for the first time!). If I had seen the show a little earlier I think I would have turned a doctor (at least tried to!)
So nice to see all those faces again together, so nice to hear that behind the scenes there was only laugh, love and respect, we probably can't say that about all shows.

@chadriggs65243 years ago ER is the greatest medical drama to date. No other show has ever come close and I regularly watch reruns to this day. The first six seasons with the writing, the cast, the methods used in filming continue to be second to none. However, the storylines began to get a little too “preachy” around season six and jumped the shark with Carter heading to Africa. It became an hour showcase for the social cause de jour rather than being a truly great and entertaining show. But those first 6-7 seasons may never be topped. Truly remarkable. ... 1
