Two Main Objectives of DEOBAND Movement - # Propagating and Imparting pure teachings of Hadis and Quran among Muslims. # Keep alive the spirit of a revolution/jihad against the foreign ruler. Deobandi movement leadership was of the view that there is no requirement for a separate land for the Muslims and all Muslims and Hindu and other religions can live combinedly and happily in a united secular India.
