The Saudi Future Investment Initiative in its 5th Year

The Future Investment Initiative (the FII) wrapped up its two-day event today. There's a lot to cover here. The event was opened with a performance from Gloria Gaynor, who sang her hit "I will survive." The FII is Saudi Arabia's premiere annual conference. Sometimes casually referred to as “Davos in the Desert,” the FII saw conversations and public comments from (just to name a few) Larry Fink of BlackRock, David Solomon, chairman of Goldman Sachs Group, Ray Dalio, founder and co-chairman of Bridgewater Associates and many more. It also saw appearances and comments from just about every Saudi minister, top CEO, and more.
