Filipino food tour in Iloilo City. Today we take you on a street food tour of Iloilo City in the Philippines, sharing some of the incredible food from their famous batchoy to barquillos. 🔔 SUBSCRIBE FOR MORE FOOD ADVENTURES: /HungryTwoTravel 👀 WATCH Huge Filipino Food Tour in Bacolod City: /watch/4Yg34XvTnuCT3 We started our Filipino food tour having a popular food in the Philippines, the flavourful and garlicky arroz caldo. We made our way into the centre of Iloilo City to Roberto’s to try their famous Queen Siopao. This is one of the must try street foods in Iloilo that we couldn’t pass up on our Filipino street food tour. We continued our Filipino food tour to Madge Café tasting their native coffee, very robust and delicious. Being such a hot day, we had to get a halo halo to cool off, except this one was in a coconut! There’s something extra tasty and delicious about having your halo halo in a coconut. To finish off our Filipino food tour in Iloilo City, we tried two of the most popular foods in Iloilo, batchoy and barquillos. Batchoy is famous here in Iloilo, a massive bowl of noodles with all kinds of meat in a hearty broth. Their famous batchoy noodles is the ultimate bowl. We were also lucky enough to watch barquillos get made at Original Deocampo Barquillos. This is the place where barquillos all started, and the best place to get your barquillos fix in Iloilo City. We hope you enjoy our Filipino food tour in Iloilo City tasting the famous batchoy and barquillos. The food in Iloilo Philippines is amazing and we can’t wait to share our second video with you next week! Stay tuned for more street food adventures. @CrisXing9 months ago Thanks for a must try merienda (snack) episode!
i' d like to add that most of the food in this video are favorite breakfast and merienda items steph had suman with her coffee. Other good pairings with suman would be latik (reduced coconut crme sauce) chocolate sauce, or ripe manggo.
chris had such a big bowl of batchoy! Looks like it can feed two or three less hungry people. Hahaha!
it is common for locals to pair noodles and siopao, but with the size of those servings, i' d need some people to share it with!
barquillos is a childhood treat for me and i am really happy to finally have seen how they are made. I appreciate it so much guys.
kudos to another happy belly episode!
