1 - some people go down into the 2 - there are videos of people going in groups with a guide down in the catacombs and then their guide literally just disappearing into thin air. From there they use their footage to get back out but otherwise they wouldve died. ...Expand 282

only a small part of the catacombs is actually built on bones because the people who built realized that it wasn't sturdy enough. the actual catacombs are built on thick concrete walls.
