Oakland County Circuit Judge Kwame Rowe looks on STORYLINE: A Michigan law enforcement official described in detail the scene at Oxford High School during a mass shooting in 2021. Oakland County sheriff's Detective Edward Wagrowski testified Thursday at pre-sentencing hearing for Ethan Crumbley. County Circuit Judge Kwame Rowe is hearing evidence to support a request to sentence Crumbley to life in prison. Crumbley was 15 years old when he killed four fellow students and wounded others at Oxford High School. Crumbley pleaded guilty to murder and other charges. Because of his age, the now-17-year-old is entitled to a hearing at which a judge will look at his family life, mental health and other factors. Crumbley could be given a minimum sentence somewhere from 25 years to 40 years.  During Wagrowski's time on the stand, audio was played of Crumbley speaking before the shooting. In it, he says: "My name is Ethan Crumbley, aged 15, and I'm going to be the next school shooter. I thought about this a lot. I can't stop thinking about it." =========================================================== Clients are reminded to adhere to all listed restrictions and to check the terms of their licence agreements.
