A Potentiometer is a resistive transducer. It is also called as POT. It operates on the voltage division principle. It is basically of two types- 1. Linear Potentiometer 2. Rotary Potentiomter Potentiomter is commonly used as a secondary transducer to convert motion and displacement into voltage and current signals.
