Join me as I discuss the future of Rita at Alton Towers Resort! With the retrack of Nemesis and Project Horizon not so far away... When could Alton Towers do some work to a classic hydraulic launch coaster! Th13teen took over the Dark Forest in 2010 and when Th13teen opened Rita was slightly rethemed to go with the area, since then its felt a little out of place and overall is a average coaster! Rita launches riders 0-61mph in 2.5 seconds! Even with its launch, Rita is NOT the fastest roller coaster at Alton Towers, that record goes to Oblivion! CHANGES TO GALACTICA? /watch/8vk30Rx_Bya_3 Nemesis: Nemesis is a world-renowned steel inverted coaster located at Alton Towers, a premier theme park destination in the UK. The ride first opened in 1994 and has been thrilling guests ever since with its intense and innovative layout. Recently, the ride has undergone a retracking process, with new supports and track sections being installed to enhance the overall experience. The retracking will ensure that the ride remains smooth and thrilling for years to come, and the new supports will add an extra layer of safety to the already secure coaster.
