In times of crisis, it's important to remember to laugh occasionally. No one knows this as well as comedian Amy Schumer, who uploaded another one of her deadpan selfie videos to her Instagram account on Friday, in light of the wave of cancellations and shutdowns sweeping the nation resulting from the coronavirus epidemic. In a dimly lit bedroom, Amy, 38, speaks to the camera from her pillow.  'Hey guys, so I just found out that me going to the gym today was cancelled,' she says, with a subtle look of mock disappointment.'You guys know I love going to the gym but I cant make it, it's cancelled,' she continues. 'I was supposed to see my mom and mom, I'm so sorry, that's gotta be cancelled.   'And yeah, worst of all I was supposed to eat better today and that's been cancelled,' Schumer concludes, before adding, 'So, y'know everybody just be safe, wash your hands, and it's all cancelled.' To drive home the point, the Trainwreck star captioned the video with one rather predictable word: 'Cancelled'. The post comes as shutdowns and cancellations become more and more widespread, with everything from the NBA, NHL and MLB cancelling their sporting seasons to long-running game show Price Is Right going on hiatus and Broadway going dark. It's all part of a global effort to stem the spread of the highly contagious coronavirus, which leads to the potentially serious respiratory ailment COVID-19. Governments the world over are recommending social distancing and banning large gatherings, causing the general sense that life everywhere has ground to somewhat of a halt. U.S. President Donald Trump is set to meet on Friday with major laboratory company executives to discuss efforts to ramp up testing for the virus, two sources briefed on the matter said, as the outbreak widened.  Schumer will undoubtedly stay home to care for her son Gene Attell, ten months, whom she shares with her chef husband Chris Fischer. The pair were married in 2018.
