@GoodNostalgia6 years ago I want to look at this without being blinded by nostalgia. In the end, I still prefer the 2008 one. The girls have more energy to their dance moves and there's dynamic camera movement. You can see them at more angles than just front-facing. The new girls aren't even singing in sync with the music, much less each other! Purple-haired girl is even looking around like she doesn't know what's going on! And their side-stepping move looks noodley! As for character design, both 2008 and 2018 look unsettling if you stare long enough! .. ...Expand 135

But the 2008 one had better anatomy and more sync they repaired the girl' s spine, but it had a price, the 3 needed to have their arm bones turned into rubber like in harry potter. ...Expand 38

@Raakai6 years ago For those who don' t wish to read all of this, my opinion is that these versions are about the same in regards to quality.
there are pros and for 2018, the art style is more detailed, the faces have improved the most, in my eyes. In this version, they also have attempted lip syncing, which i think is a cool feature. In the 2008 version, they basically have the same expression the whole video. In 2018, they also have more aesthetically pleasing visuals than the older one. There are more animations, and is more fluid, though some could argue that messes the video up. I somewhat agree. The recent verson also has some of the video actually relating to the lyrics, such as when they talk about countries. There' s more variety in this version, thus making it a bit more entertaining to watch. I won' t mention lyrics, as they aren' t part of the art itself in my eyes. However, it can be convenient for those who want to understand what they' re saying.
in conclusion, i' d say they' re equivalent in quality, though in different ways. ...Expand 2
