Urban Pond Fishing for Bluegills and Pumpkinseeds

Went to a fairly new urban pond to explore and see what kind of fish were in there. I ended up catching a bunch of bluegill sunfish and pumpkinseed sunfish, either of which was too surprising. What was surprising was the lack of any predator fish in the pond or any larger sunfish. Just from this one day sample the pond seems to be full of stunted sunfish and not much else.
