Ingredients List सामग्री
Besan/Gram Flour - 1.5 cup
Water - 1 cup
Hot Oil - 1 tsp
Food Colour - 1 pinch
Baking Soda - 1 pinch
Sugar - 1.5 cup
Water - 1.5 cup..
Cardamom Powder - 1/4 tsp
Saffron Strands - 1 pinch
Food Color - 2 pinch
Melon Seeds - 2 tbsp
Take a bowl.
Add Besan/Gram Flour.
Set a cup and take same measurment.
Add water in batches and prepare batter.
Prepare flowing consistency batter.
Add oil in kadahi and heat.
Add 1 tsp hot oil in batter.
Add Food Colour(Alternatively use Turmeric powder),Baking Soda and mix well.
Heat oil on medium high flame.
Make sure oil is piping hot.
Add 1 laddle full batter on grater.
Do not add batter continously.
Keep flame on medium.
Stir occasionally in one direction.
Fry until golden crisp.
Take out when golden,Make sure to drain off the oil completely.
Clean grater before making 2nd batch.
Prepare boondi in same way and keep aside.
Take a large/Wide kadahi.
Add Sugar,Water.
Melt sugar on medium flame.
Prepare Sticky Consistency Syrup.
Do not over boil.
Add Cardamom Powder,Saffron Strands,Food Color and mix well.
Turn off flame.
Add Boondi and mix well.
Turn on flame.
Close lid & cook for 3 mins on low flame.
Turn off flame after 3 mins.
Close lid and keep aside for 2 mins.
On low flame add melon seeds and Roast on low flame.
Keep aside.
Check Boondi.
Add chopped Pista & Rosted Melon Seeds.
